yoga nidra for sleep

Have you had trouble falling asleep? Is your mind racing as soon as your head hits the pillow? The brain is still processing the day. Everything that went well, and especially when feeling disappointed over the outcome of a plan, meeting, or maybe just a conversation with a colleague or client. Next, you twist and turn in bed, trying to get comfortable. What does this have to do with trauma? The body and mind have created ‘muscle’ memory from specific thoughts or feelings. Even though this day’s situation might differ from when the memory was created, it can easily activate the same symptoms as before, like restlessness and difficulty falling asleep. A regular Yoga Nidra practice supports releasing these traumatic experiences and replacing them with the deep rest and relaxation practiced during this guided meditation. Wake up refreshed and start the day calm and rested!
